Suzanne Arthur

I was born and raised in the San Fernando Valley in LA, and started out as an animation artist at FunnyBone Studios pitching ads to agencies such as Leo Burnett, Disney, and Ogilvy & Mathers.

As a freelancer, I write for both print and digital media. I write family feature stories, business profiles, business newsletters, eBooks, email marketing campaigns, and more. I’ve written about a wide range of topics from wellness to architecture and design, in formats ranging from how-to eBooks to a weekly lifestyle column for LifeTimeTV.com.

5 things you might not know about me:

  • I practice martial arts and enjoy knitting (not at the same time).
  • Our two little dogs have stolen our hearts, our bed, and our couch.
  • I am head-over-heels about our two grandsons and all our nieces, nephews and Godkids.
  • I’m learning Greek and Byzantine notation.
  • My Aunt Louise was a Rockette.
I’ve always loved stories. Love reading, writing, and even drawing them. I learned to analyze them from the creator’s perspective while working at an animation studio during college.

My boss was a very talented director who was in constant competition with others who were also masters in their craft. These wizards battled each other to come up with the cleverest scripts and visual gags. They lived to make each other laugh as much as to get the gig. Old men when I knew them, in their prime, they had animated Disney feature films such as Snow White and Peter Pan. They were still hunched over their drawing tables, still vigorously crafting brilliant work. Their TV commercials buzzed with the vitality of full length feature films compressed into 60-second ads for Fruity Pebbles and Lucky Charms.

When my husband, Evan Landaw, and I started an online business I resolved to incorporate what I had learned about storytelling into our marketing and into our first product—a series of eBooks. Our grit and determination paid off. We ended up with four best-selling, how-to eBooks. Since then, we have created thousands of pages of marketing and content both for our own businesses and for other professional service providers. Whether I am writing a company newsletter, an email campaign, or a book, my work is still about telling a good story—because stories guide, inspire, motivate, and connect us.

We can help you get--and stay--connected with people who care what you think and want to hear from you. We can increase the buzz about your professional service or product.

Do you know the power of a newsletter for growing your business? Let us help you tell your story -- and turn your readers into loyal clients!

TALG

Evan Landaw

I hail from the land of Goshen, Indiana. I am a musician and composer and played drums in many bands from 1982 to 2015 and lived to tell the tale.

I am an armchair YouTube model railroader & martial artist, mostly art!

From a very young age, I loved electronics and technology, as evidenced by nearly burning down my parents' house when I once soldered a transistor radio to a guitar-effects pedal.

My interest in computer technology started in the mid-80s and I began to fiddle with web programming in the late 90s. I hard coded my first website in 2001. Since then I have built over 400 websites and consulted with hundreds of business start-up owners since 2004.

Interested in a website remodel? It's an affordable way to upscale & optimize your web presence.
